SEVEN BASIC RULES FOR THE PREVENTION OF CANCER – RULE FOUR
No one but a person who cannot walk can imagine life without the use of his legs. The importance of our legs only begins to dawn on us when we see someone who cannot use them. And yet, time and again we commit the error of giving in to convenience; we take the car instead of walking. The way things are going it appears that before too long many people will use their feet and legs only
to operate the accelerator! But this neglect is absolutely wrong; it robs the body of an essential source of strength. Walking and hiking help us to breathe deeply, so that we regularly inhale sufficient oxygen to keep the cells healthy and elastic. Cancer cells lack oxygen, and since lack of oxygen is one of the main causes leading to cell degeneration, we must never neglect the regular intake of oxygen. Engage regularly in walking and hiking!
