MASSAGE TO HELP YOU RELAX

One of the commonest symptoms associated with period pain, both the cramps and the aching miseries is a headache, and the pain ranges from grumbling discomfort to blinding migraine. Some women have oppressive pain behind their eyes or across their foreheads; some have pain at or above the nape of their necks; others have a band of severe pain right round their skulls; some feel as though they have a ton weight on top of their heads; others have lopsided pain down one side of their heads or on one side of their foreheads only.

There are lots of reasons for headaches apart from period pain —ranging from decayed teeth to sinus trouble to the start of an infectious illness. Some are caused by tension. The ton-weight one and the one that feels like a tight band round your skull are often stress headaches; whatever the cause, there’s often a lot of tension involved in the pain. So relaxation to reduce the stress will often reduce the headache too.
