BEAUTIFUL HAIR – HAIR COLOUR (INTRODUCTION)
The colour of the hair is manufactured near the hair roots, where an inner layer of cells contains pigments of various colours. That is why there are so many shades of hair, from blond to red or black. Hair colour is part of an individual’s genetic make-up. True, the hairdresser can use chemicals to change your natural shade to one that is completely different. Nevertheless, the original colour will return at the roots as the hair continues to grow. So, if your hair is dyed or bleached and you do not wish it to be known, you will have to see your hairdresser regularly for a touch-up. It has become the fashion to change one’s hair colour according to whim, but this may not always be appreciated by the passport control at international borders, for example, unless you have the entry ‘hair colour’ altered accordingly. Irrespective of the modern extremes and changes, the natural variety of hair colours and characteristics is just as lovely as the charming variety of shape and colour seen in butterflies, birds, fish and other marine creatures, not forgetting the beauty of flowers.
