Petasites in a high concentration has been given to cancer patients for some years now and the good results achieved have induced researchers to continue their tests. It is not impossible that desperate cancer patients who face an uncertain future will eventually be helped by means of Petasites, and this possibility gives us reassurance and hope. Much store has been placed on certain potential cancer remedies that have been publicised widely in the press, causing a sensation, but almost as suddenly as they appeared so they disappeared. However, observations relating to the use of Petasites extracts have consistently shown for decades that the plant has a certain influence on the general development of cancer. Of course, only time will tell how far this plant can help to solve the problem of cancer.
